Hello, my name is Nigel and I started Glos Detailing in 2014 with a passion and love for vehicles of all types, after having spent many hours prior to that striving to improve my own vehicle’s appearance. From very early on, I knew I was destined to work in the car industry in some form, and everything clicked into place once I passed my driving test and finally had my own car to maintain and care for.
ABOUT OUR SERVICES
After several years of hard work, learning and training in all areas of detailing, I was hired by an exclusive Aston Martin & Bentley dealership in Cheltenham. It was a dream job, and as you can imagine I was initially a little star struck! Many amazing cars passed through my hands there, and after spending 5 years working to the highest standards on these prestige vehicles, I realised that I had all the skills necessary, as well as the heart & passion, to start out on my own and Glos Detailing was born.
You can tell a lot about a detailer by looking at their own vehicle. The level of care and attention to detail that I’ve lavished on my own works vehicles has been rewarded by a magazine feature on my previous VW T5 Transporter, and in 2016 my VW Caddy won 2 awards at Europe’s largest detailing show, Waxstock. The Glos Detailing Caddy came 1st in “Best Works Vehicle” and 2nd in “Best Finish”. Understandably I was over the moon, but especially so given that both these competitions are judged by other detailers in the industry.
